The weeks are going by so quickly, I think it is because you are all working so hard!

This week is a short week, as there will be no home learning on Friday 8th May 2020. It is a very special Bank Holiday. It is VE Day or Victory in Europe Day and marks the day towards the end of World War Two when fighting against Nazi Germany came to an end in Europe. It is a day when we remember and honour all the heroes of the Second World War.

P2 and P3 Topic

This week we thought it would be some fun to introduce our topic for the month. So our topic is Rainbows, the rainbow is all around us these days, it is a symbol of promise, hope, kindness and thanks. We have been using it to say thanks to our NHS staff for all the work they are doing caring for those who are sick in our community. Here are some activities you might like to try this week.

  • Many of you have made some posters, lets see some more of them in your windows and on your fences.
  • Take a photograph of a rainbow if you see one in the sky.

  • Have a go at the Rainbow Lego Challenge.
