SAFER SCHOOLS APP
The Department of Education has launched an app on the Safer Schools platform which has been provided by iNEQE Safeguarding Group on a trial basis during this COVID-19 crisis. The app is currently used widely across the rest of the UK.
These are challenging times for all of us and the safeguarding & child protection support provided through this app will be of use to professionals, parent/carers and pupils.
Of particular note will be the specific resources linked COVID-19 contained within the resources section.
The app, downloaded on either the App Store or Google Play, can be accessed by professionals and by parents/carers and links to a landing page, welcome pack including relevant QR codes and social media graphics are provided below.
It provides invaluable information and support during these times when children & people can be at home for extended periods and are perhaps experiencing anxiety about the ongoing situation.
