Week 3 20th April

Well done to this weeks certificate winners. You have worked really hard this week!

Week beginning Monday 20th April

Welcome back to home learning boys and girls.  We hope you had a great break for Easter and that you are ready to get back to a little bit of home learning.  I will be putting up a task for Busy Bees and Primary 1's this week so you can have a go at this.  Otherwise you can continue with your learning pack and study ladder.  Don't forget about Bug Club, you can logon and read books and do quizzes online.  Have a great week!

Mrs Preston and Mrs McBride

Sam is celebrating a very special day today, his 5th birthday. Happy Birthday Sam, we're sorry we can't be with you on your special day but we will have a big celebration when we all see each other again soon. That cake looks amazing we would all like to try a piece of that! What a great present to get for your birthday, a John Deere! You will be busy doing lots of farming work with that machinery. Have a great day Sam.

Here is quick video of Louis showing us how he feeds his baby lambs. That lamb sure looks very hungry Louis, it doesn't take him long to drink that bottle.

Over Easter, Lucas made a cake to say thankyou to all the NHS and Key workers. Well done Lucas, it looks great, I'm sure it was yummy too!

Sam has been keeping busy over the Easter holidays. He made great Easter bunny out of an egg carton. Thats a great way to reuse and recycle Sam. He was also stepping back in time to have a go at sowing with a fiddle. Wow Sam that is a really interesting task. Farming must have been really hard work in days gone by, now we have big machines to do the work.

Look at these great dough Easter bunnies that Mina and her little brother made from their footprints. These are just great!

Louis has been enjoying building lego with his daddy. That's a great harvester and truck Louis! You could do a lot of work with those.

Zoe has been really busy with her letters and number work during home learning. I see you have also made time to make something really nice Zoe. Well done it looks lovely!

Wow look what Louis got over Easter!! 2 baby lambs called Midge and Steve. You're a real farmer now Louis, you will be busy looking after and feeding these lambs. We'd love to see a video of you feeding your lambs with a bottle

Sam was really making the most of the good weather yesterday and after working hard at his school work he got his pool out as a treat. That homemade slide looks like great craic Sam, we would all love a whizz down that!

Annie has been keeping busy over the Easter holidays and helping out at home. She followed the advice and stayed at home to do her egg hunt and roll in the fields beside her house. Annie also made some lovely buns for the staff in A&E at CAH. They look lovely Annie, that was a lovely way to thank our NHS heros. I also see you and Sam have been helping mummy with painting the fence, thats a great way to help improve your fine motor skills for starting Primary 1. Keep up the good work Annie!
