P2/3 had a special visitor today, author Mr Declan Carville. The children enjoyed listening to some of his wonderful stories and looking at the illustrations. A very memorable storytelling session- Many thanks Declan!

Maths Week! We played lots of games and used maths in our play!

Primary 2 Problem Solving- Number words: we had to take turns, read the number words and order them.

P3 Problem Solving- Dotty Dog Dominos: We had to use dominos to give our dogs a different number of spots. We worked in pairs.

Pumpkin Carving

Outdoor Play

We baked bread just like in the story of ‘The Little Red Hen’. We all helped! 😊

Making vegetable soup.

P2/3 enjoy using our iPads to help develop their Literacy and Numeracy skills. Learning certainly is fun!😀

We love to use the apparatus for indoor P.E. to develop our physical skills!

We have been learning the names and properties of 2d shapes. We went on a shape hunt around the school grounds, we made patterns using shapes and we even created some pictures using 2d shapes.

Today we made models using 3D junk materials. We then did show ‘n’ tell to show the others our creations and to name and describe the shapes we used. We now know the names of 3D shapes very well!😊
