Autumn reminds us of pumpkins. We really enjoyed seeing inside the pumpkin. Some of us enjoyed getting stuck in and cleaning out the pulp but others weren’t so sure! πŸŽƒπŸ˜ƒ

This week was a special week in school when we celebrated maths week by focusing on measuring length. We wanted to try to do some our measuring lessons outside and we really enjoyed getting our maths outdoors.

We have been learning lots about owls after reading the story owl babies. Owls are very interesting creatures and we have enjoyed learning about the special things owls do to make them great hunters.

This month we had a visit from PSNI to tell us about the dangers of fireworks.

Mr Happy helped Hannah to build puzzles. They went on an Autumn walk together and attended a lovely Harvest service.

Show β€˜n’ Tell with James. James had a picnic with Mr Happy, they went walking together, popped bubbles and Mr Happy even went to church with James!

Show β€˜n’ Tell with Logan. Mr Happy played with Logan’s tractor and watched himself on TV.

This week after watching out for the showers we got to go on our autumn walk. We had great fun exploring the fields beside our school and splashing around in the stream. We saw lots of signs of autumn and the cows were very interested to meet our Busy Bees and Primary 1 class.
