On 31st March we had a visit from the amazing Declan Carville. Declan read some of his stories to us and showed us where he got his ideas from for his stories. We loved seeing the illustrations for his stories, especially the fairy pictures.
We are really enjoying our farm topic. We have a few resident farm experts who we can learn a lot from about the farm.
It’s great to be able to play outside after the cold winter.
We have been enjoying our topic ‘On the Farm’. Today we learned about milk from grass to glass. We made a yummy sommthie to remind us that milk is good for us.
We also made our own books ‘All about Me’ for World Book Day. Here are the Busy Bees showing off their books.
This week we celebrated World Book Day by sharing our favourite stories using our own homemade story sacks. They were brilliant!
What a great way to start March.... Pancake Tuesday was a real hit in P1 and Busy Bees.
