Day 1
What a busy day it’s been! All arrived on time for the bus excited and ready for the day ahead. We had a great breakfast on the boat and arrived in Scotland on time. We had a fantastic time at Dalscone fun farm with lots of animals, go karts, slides, trampoline park and tubing! The weather has been brilliant and we have settled into our hotel well ready for a good night’s sleep and looking forward to tomorrow.
Day 2.
Another action packed day!
We had a brilliant morning in Lego Land then a quick lunch on the bus and off we went to Chester Zoo with not a second to lose!
Chester Zoo was amazing, we loved the bat house but our all time favourite was watching the elephants getting fed and enjoying a shower.
We had another lovely dinner in the hotel with warm apple pie and ice cream for dessert, what a treat, and then after a quick phone call home, we headed out to go bowling. We had another wonderful day.
Day 3
This morning after another lovely breakfast we loaded onto the bus with our very entertaining bus driver ‘Big Nigel’. He started our morning off with a maths challenge and got our brains working. We travelled up to Blackpool to Madam Tussauds Museum and met some of the rich and famous. After lunch we had a brilliant afternoon at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. The rides were amazing, from the Ghost Train, The Big Dipper to the Pepsi Max, we squealed our way around them all!
We finished our afternoon off with a visit to the Golden Arches and enjoyed a McDonald’s treat! We had another fantastic day!
Day 4
This morning we packed up and headed to visit the Blackburn Rovers stadium. Mike gave us a very informative tour of the grounds and we had the privilege of visiting the private box! After a quick lunch, we headed up the motorway to Gretna!
