This week we have been enjoying the lovely weather during outdoor play. We made some faces with natural materials.

This week we had a visit from the dental hygienist. Jill told us how to brush our teeth and then we looked at how much sugar is in our foods.

This week we have been having a go at sorting and making sets.

As part of our topic this week we talked about our birthdays and when we celebrate them. We decided to make a cake to celebrate all the birthdays in our class. We loved making it ourselves and the best part was eating it for snack on Friday😋. It was yummy!

To help us with our topic of ‘Mighty Me’ we have set up a doctors surgery in our play area. Today we had a real doctor visit our class. Dr Nicholson came and helped us with our sick teddies and dolls. We talked about how to stay healthy and what to do when we don’t feel well.

We are off to a great start with our phonics. This week our letter is s. We have been practising how to write s and find it around us.

We love to take part in indoor PE using the apparatus.

We are enjoying our topic of ‘Mighty Me’. This week we were learning about our bodies. We drew around ourselves and labelled some Brady parts. We found out that we knew lots!!

We have had a great first week back at school. We have enjoyed getting to know all our classmates and having fun together.
