We had a fantastic afternoon decorating Easter cupcakes with Mrs Herron! Happy Easter everyone!

We finished out Titanic models from junk craft today!

The Amazing Journey came to Cortamlet today! We met several Biblical characters including Simon Peter and Mary Magdalene. We tasted food eaten during those times and dressed up in Biblical clothes.

We had an amazing day at the Ardmore Hockey Tournament. For once the weather was on our side! Both teams played brilliantly and the standard of hockey was amazing. We are so proud of you all! A special mention goes to Harry Johnston who won Player of the Tournament! Great job everyone! Also a huge thank you to all the parents who provided transport and stood at the side to cheer us all on!

We received a visitor from the P3 classroom. James showed us his problem solving skills. We were very impressed.

Carol Singing! We went Carol Singing to St Mary's residential care home. We had a lovely morning singing, they made us very welcome.

It was Grace’s 10th birthday and we celebrated it with her.

Sentinus Science Workshop. We had a fantastic afternoon learning all about flight. We made our own kites and then worked in pairs to make rockets which we launched outside! The height some of the rockets went in the air due to the pressure build up was amazing!

We had a birthday today. Lois was 11. She gave out buns to everyone. They were delicious.

Lois raised £1500 for the Princess Charity by cutting and donating her hair. We love her new hair style.

P6 and P7 are ditching the dark with their bright attire!

Star Hockey Players of the Week

We all enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Armagh Museum to learn more about The Victorians. We were able to have a go at writing with quills, dressing up in Victorian clothes and looking at how technology has changed throughout the years.

It was Zoe’s 10th birthday. She brought in chocolate cake for everyone! Happy birthday, Zoe.

Grace’s farm safety poster was selected to be featured in next years farm safety calendar! She won a £50 voucher! Congratulations Grace and we can’t wait to receive our next copy of the calendar.

Well done to Sam, Amelia and Isaac for doing so well in their latest music exams! We are so proud!

Well done to Week 2 Hockey Players of the Week

We had a great afternoon making our own mud clay and mud faces on the tree! Lots of muddy hands but the finished product was brilliant!

Our first hockey lesson. We had great fun. Louis couldn’t play but he had his red and yellow referee cards ready at hand. Thankfully, he didn’t need to use them. Our star players were Grace, Eliza, Sam and Isaac Robb!

Joanna did fabulously well, passing her grade 3 piano exam whilst still in primary school! We are so proud of you, Joanna

We have been making the most of the dry weather and getting outside to complete another Forest School session. This week we made our own noughts and crosses game using sticks and stones. This activity definitely required team work! To finish we peeled some the carrots we picked yesterday during maths and enjoyed tasting them!
