Day 4
Homeward bound! An early start with bags packed and rooms cleared out we enjoyed our final breakfast together, collected our lunches and boarded the bus. We stopped off at Ewood Park the home of Blackburn Rovers where we were toured the stadium and found out some interesting facts about the history of the team and the stadium itself. Then we travelled up to Scotland where we stopped at Dalscone Fun Farm- I highly recommend a stop off there if you are travelling that direction. Slides, animals, go-karts, climbing frames, a fantastic range of activities for all ages. Then onto the boat where we had priority boarding to eat our evening meal. The boat was busy, hats were signed and any remaining pennies were spent!
We have had an excellent week, the children were exceptionally well behaved and we were proud that so many businesses and members of the public commented on the wonderful manners the children had and the fun that they were having with each other. There have been many first time experiences for all this week, friendships developed and memories that will last for a long time! Here’s to the class of 2024!
