Day 3
Today was another fun-packed day with lots of activities on the itinerary. After breakfast, we walked, in glorious sunshine, to some souvenir shops to buy gifts. Next we went to Madame Tussaud’s. There was so much to see. In under two hours we had met the likes of Craig Revel Horwood, Ed Sheeran, The Incredible Hulk and even King Charles amongst many others.
Our coach collected us and dropped us off at ‘The Pleasure Beach’. Quite a few of the kids went on ‘The Pepsi Max’ rollercoaster which was 235 metres tall and its tracks wrapped themselves around the perimeter of the pleasure beach. We spent a brilliant afternoon. Jenson persuaded me to go on the log ride, which resulted in my being completely soaked! The highlight was ‘The Valhalla’, another water ride. Mrs Rice and I declined many invitations to go on.
After dinner, we went to Stanley Park for football, rounders and the play park. We had a great day. Mrs Rice and I have been so proud of our kids. Their exceptional behaviour has been commented on by many, including hotel staff and shop staff. One gift shop gave out a box of sweets due to their manners and politeness.
