Time Travellers.
Our school is 50 years old this year. We travelled back in time 50 years ago in our tardus. We found out what was happening in 1965. We interviewed some friends and family. We found out about fashions, hairstyles, school, cars and famous people. Neil Armstrongs friend did a space walk in 1965, Winston Churchill died in 1965, JK Rowling was born in 1965, the 70mph speed limit was introduced in 1965 and our new school opened in 1965. On Wednesday 9th December we held our Celebrating Cortamlet evening. Our P4, 5, 6 and 7 children sang really well. Lots and lots of people came and everyone enjoyed the evening so much, they didn't want to go home. We had great fun learning all about what life was like 50 years ago. How did everyone survive without computers?
