Our Babies topic
We wanted to make a toy for a baby so we decided to have a go at making it with junk art. We looked at lots of baby toys and searched for pictures of baby toys on the internet. Some of us wanted to make a rattle toy but everyone decided that it had to colourful for a baby to like the toy. We had great fun cutting and sticking things together to make a really interesting toy for a baby. I love how everyone is really concentrating on what they are doing while making their toy.
Today we bathed the babies at outdoor play. We washed their tiny baby clothes and pegged them up on the line. We loved filling the bottles in the water and pretending to feed the babies. We had to work really hard on our fine motor skills to work the pegs and get the baby clothes pegged up.
