Blackpool 2023
Day 1
A long but enjoyable day was had by all. We set off from Newtown and headed for the boat, on the boat we enjoyed brunch and explored the ship.
We headed towards Blackpool with a short stop for snack and a browse round the shops at Gretna Outlet village.
Finally reached our hotel, got our tea and had some fun on the beach!
Day 2
We had a fantastic day today! First we went to the Sandcastle water park, the biggest indoor water park in the United Kingdom! The kids had a ball! Then we headed to Blackpool Zoo where we visited animals from all round the world! Finally after tea we displayed our competitive spirit in a game of ten pin bowling.
Day 3
Another fun packed day! Madame Tussaud’s in the morning where we met with the stars, a picnic on the beach and an afternoon at the pleasure beach. Many had a go on the fast and crazy roller coasters and I (thankfully) didn’t have to follow through with a promise to ride the Pepsi Max as they closed it!!! The kids have all been fantastic and made many new friends for going on to high school!
Final day!
We set off bright and early to Elwood Park, home of Blackburn Rovers. We were treated to a great stadium tour where we saw the changing rooms, VIP areas and got to go down beside the pitch.
Then we headed for the boat with a super stop off at Dunscone Fun farm. The weather has been fantastic all week as were all the kids! Really proud of them all.😊 A brilliant bunch of kids!
