Well done boys and girls, it’s Friday again and as always you have all been working hard. The weather seems to feel like spring which is great especially on a Friday!

The P2 certificate this week is going to a boy who has been working very hard on his learning and has made super progress this week. It goes to Kristofers! Well done.

The P3 certificate of the week is awarded to Matthew Nicholson this week. Matthew has worked really hard on his home learning pack and his reading. Well done Matthew!

Don’t forget PE with Chris at 1 pm for P2 and 1:35pm for P3! Today is the last day!

I hope you had a good rest last week and did something fun with your family.

 

Please remember that you can collect your new home learning pack between 10 am and 11 am this morning (Monday) at school. Please return your last learning pack. 

 

New tasks have been set on Study Ladder for you when you have finished your pack and you also have lots of books on Bug Club. Don't forge to re-read your bug club books lots of times. New AR targets have been set P3 and I have put some new AR books into your folders, so you can get started on quizzing!

Jack and the Beanstalk - The Children's Story

In this video, we present: JACK AND THE BEANSTALK."Jack and the Beanstalk" is an English fairy tale.Jack, a poor country boy, trades the family cow for a handful of beans!
You will need to listen to this story for some of your literacy work this week. We will be looking at Fairytales and Castles over the next few weeks. Next week we will look at a different version of Jack and the beanstalk called “Maximus and the beanstalk”

What a mix of weather we had last week! Snow one day and sunshine the next! Caleb made the most every day! Well done Caleb, that pizza looks very tasty and what a fun way to learn about sharing into halves and quarters!

Lois has sent us a lovely photo of her out with her pony Penny in the snow, isn't she a beautiful little pony! It was Daniel's birthday at the weekend, what a delicious looking tractor birthday cake! Happy birthday Daniel.

Louis climbed Mullyash Mountain and he was able to see his house and school from the top! He was out playing in the snow and he also had his first horse riding lesson on Judy, a lovely chestnut pony. Louis is working this morning on his Jack and the Beanstalk activity. Super work Louis!

Sam had great fun in the snow before half term, look at the size of that igloo and the snowman! He and Amelia are great construction workers! Sam has also been working hard writing about Jack and the Beanstalk and he thoroughly enjoyed his Hug in a Mug while watching some Disney!

Harry enjoyed the snow before half term, the family built a huge snowman! Harry has been busy making more pancakes which look delicious and enjoying his Hug in a Mug. He has also been a busy beaver working on his activities in his pack.
