June

We were so excited to find that our caterpillars had changed into butterflies and the butterflies had emerged from their chrysalises. Keep an eye out for the butterfly release tomorrow. 🦋🦋🦋🦋

This week we had a special treat when we travelled to Fort Evergreen in Warrenpoint for our end of term school trip. We loved all the activities and everyone had a ball.

Congratulations to these two superstars. Eliza and Alice both won prizes at their recent dancing competition. Alice was the most improved dancer. Look at that trophy!! 🤩

Well done to this super girl, Ava. She placed third in her gymnastics competition at the weekend. We love to see boys and girls doing well outside school as well as in school.

Today Grace and Ruby from Phil’s Farm came to visit. They brought us some mini beasts to help us with our topic. Then we had a cuddle with some of the fluffy animals. We loved it!!

Caterpillar update!! Our caterpillars have started their change from caterpillars into butterflies. After the weekend they had all developed into the chrysalis stage. They are changing inside their case. We carefully moved them from their old home to their new home of the butterfly enclosure. We really hope they will turn into butterflies before the holidays.

We really enjoyed our fun night last night and today we got to play on the bouncy castles all over again. There was lots of bouncing and sliding in the sun today. 😊

This week we got back to our P.E session with the apparatus in our hall. We had fun jumping, climbing and swinging around with our bodies. 🐒

On Tuesday we had our Sports Day. The sun shone and we enjoyed racing in the sunshine with lollies for a treat.

We love getting outside in the good weather to play. Here we are in our new garden area playing with our new physical equipment and loose parts play.
