On Thursday 11th January Mr. McGaw and Mr. Cousins visited P6 and P7 to speak about Newtownhamilton High School. The children thoroughly enjoyed their talk and can't wait to go to their Open Night on Thursday 18th January.
Also on Thursday 11th January, Jennifer from Cancer Focus visited the Classroom. She spoke about the dangers associated with smoking. The children participated in drama activities and found out lots of information which they previously did not know. A very interesting morning.
On Friday 19th January I went to compete in a Racing Simulator competition. There were 5 children and over 30 adults, I got to meet lots of new people and I came first overall with a time of 2 minutes 57 seconds.
