The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations!

We had great fun celebrating the Platinum Jubilee, the children dressed up, we had lots of kings, queens, princes and princesses! We made crowns and a slushie van came to school, we continued the celebrations by having a picnic lunch.

We held a competition to design a Platinum Jubilee stamp. The children showed great creativity and choosing the winners was a very difficult job!

We have been celebrating 10 years of The Daily Mile! We were given these fabulous T-shirts, what a bright and cheerful colour!

We enjoy running or walking our daily mile, it helps us to burn off energy and improve our health and fitness.

For World Book Day all the children created their own story sack for one of their favourite books. Everyone was very creative and produced some fantastic sacks. We thoroughly enjoyed trying to guess what the book might be and also shared some of the stories together. A great way to enjoy reading.

Our fantastic Story Sacks!

It was great to have Christine back in school today to give us some expert hockey coaching!🏑
